Maruti Suzuki year , on year sales performance in July 2025 remained flat, but it saw a good recovery compared to the previous month.
With 1,38,976 Cars Sold in July 2025, Maruti Suzuki Recorded almost zero year on year growth or decline. For the record, the company had delivered 1,36,360 Vehicles in July 2024. However, compared to July 2025 when it Dispatched 118,806 Cars, its sales in Julay 2025 registered a growth of 17%. The Dzire was Maruti Suzukis best -selling model in India Last month. The company sold 20,890 units of the sub-4 meter sedan, up 79% compared to the same month last year (11,647 units). On The other hand, the Company’s only other seda, the Ciaz, saw sales decline 71% year-on-year, falling from 603 units to 173 units, as its last remaining stock was exhausted. Among hatchbacks, the wagon R led the pack, Selling 14,710 units. Howeve, the Swift was not far behind with sales of 14,190 units. However, sales of these models were down 9%and 16% respectively compared to July 2024. The Baleno sold 12,503 units, up 34% compared to the same Month last year (9308 units).
With city cars losing popularity in India, the alto registered a20% Yo Y decline, Falling from 7,355 units to 5,911 units. While the SUV styled and generously equipped lgnis registered 1,977 units, down 11% from July 2024, the bare-bones S- Presso was on an even worse footing – 912 units, down 65%. Maruti Suzuki’s MUV and MPV models performed well last month. The Company sold 12,340 units of Eeco, 16,605 units of Ertiga, 2,145 units of XL6 and 350 units of Invicto.
